When you open an object, you see a list of topics. In general, these topics are used to associate other objects to the current object. Some topics are read-only. Some topics are informational only, meaning that they do not relate to other objects. Some topics are common, meaning that you will see them on more than one object type. For example, you will see the Directory Entries topic when viewing either a person or an organization. Some topics are unique to a particular object type. For example, the User Account Information topic is only found when viewing a person.
